What We Do
The Trust awards grants in the following main areas:
1. EYESIGHT
a) To support research into causes, treatment and prevention of Age-Related Macular Degeneration.
b) To provide assistance through support, treatment and preventative measures to those affected by or at risk of developing visual impairment.
2. LIVER
a) To support research into causes, treatment and prevention of Primary Liver Cancer.
b) To provide assistance through support, treatment and preventative measures to those affected by or at risk of developing diseases of the liver.
3. ART
To encourage and support the development of promising young artists (working broadly in the field of visual arts), especially within the North West of the UK.
The total value of all grants awarded annually is approximately £400,000.
